aloha Privacy Policy
This page describes what we collect when you use aloha and how we keep that data protected. We process your personal information only for purposes we disclose here: account verification, payment processing, market settlement, customer support, and compliance with applicable law. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on our secure servers.
We collect information only when you provide it directly (account registration, deposits, customer support inquiries) or when you use our platform (login activity, market history, device information). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you have questions about how we handle your information, contact our support team. For specific data requests or to exercise your rights, email our data protection contact through our about us page.
What Data We Collect on aloha
When you register an aloha account, we collect your legal name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and residential address. We require a government-issued ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence) and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement) to verify your identity before you can deposit or withdraw funds.
When you fund your account, we collect transaction details: the payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or direct bank transfer via mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), the amount, the timestamp, and the transaction ID. Your bank or e-wallet provider also processes this data according to their own privacy policies.
When you use aloha, we collect your login history, IP address, device type, browser, and the markets you view or wager on. We do not store your payment card details on our servers; instead, we use encrypted payment processors that handle sensitive card data separately.
Data we collect
- Legal name, date of birth, email, phone, and address
- Government ID and proof of address for KYC verification
- Deposit and withdrawal transaction details
- Login history, IP address, and device information
- Market activity and wager history
- Customer support messages and account change requests
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to operate your aloha account: verify your identity, process deposits and withdrawals, settle wagers according to market rules, and send you account notifications (login alerts, deposit confirmations, withdrawal updates). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
We use your data to detect fraud, money laundering, and other prohibited activities. If we detect suspicious patterns—such as multiple accounts from the same person, rapid transfers between accounts, or unusual wager sequences—we may review your account, request additional verification, or suspend your access pending investigation.
We retain your data for the duration of your account and for a defined period afterward to comply with financial regulations, tax law, and anti-money-laundering requirements. We may retain transaction records for five years or longer if required by law.
Third-Party Processors and Data Sharing
We use third-party payment processors to handle deposits and withdrawals. These processors see your transaction details but do not have access to your wager history or account balance. We choose processors certified for PCI DSS compliance and data protection standards.
We may share your data with government authorities, financial regulators, or law enforcement if required by law or court order. We do not sell your data to marketing firms or data brokers. Your data may be transferred across borders if our servers sit outside your jurisdiction; however, we apply the same security standards regardless of server location.

How We Protect Your Data
All data transmitted between your device and aloha is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Your account password is hashed and salted; we do not store plain-text passwords. We enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on login to add a second verification step: after you enter your password, we send a one-time code to your registered phone number or email.
We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. Our servers sit in data centres with physical access controls, fire suppression, and redundant backup systems. We restrict employee access to customer data and maintain audit logs of all data access.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for updating it regularly. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact our support team.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to remember your login session, your language preference, and your notification settings. These are session cookies that expire when you log out, and persistent cookies that remain for up to one year. We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some aloha features may not work without them. We do not use third-party analytics tools that track your behaviour; instead, we log aggregate usage statistics (total logins, most-viewed markets, average session duration) to improve our platform performance.
Your Rights and Data Requests
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can request a copy of your data, request that we correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your data subject to legal retention requirements. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
If you wish to close your aloha account, you can request closure through your account settings. We will process any outstanding withdrawals and then delete your account data according to our retention schedule, except where law requires us to retain records (such as transaction history for tax or anti-money-laundering purposes).
